Evaluation Question 1

Comparisons to 'The Notebook'- the film often cited as a favourite romantic film by my target audience.

The structure of the film- both begin in the modern day and then flashes back.
The flash backs both take place in the mid 20th century, 1940s and 1950s.
The characters are similar, an elderly couple both appear at the beginning, however in 'The Notebook' they are more significant to the film than in my film opening.
I have also made comparisons to the young female character in my answer to evaluation question 2.
the music is calming and the sounds are of the time (as specified by my target audience) which also appears in 'The Notebook'.
