Target Audience

Research done by AudienceTargeting.com Shows that 'Romance Shoppers' are around 55% female and tend to be in the age bracket of 25-54. Bearing this, and my own experiences, in mind I have decided to target slightly younger females (around 16-45) as I believe I understand that age range the best.

I have interviewed three friends who fall into my targeted audience;

I also created a survey which I then gave to 16 females and 4 males. The youngest participant was 16 and the oldest 43.

Overall this research has allowed me to create a specification for my opening...

I am going to focus mainly on a romantic theme. I am going to set the opening in both modern day and the 1950s/1960s. Also I will try to show it from the points of view of both the main characters.
